Zambia - African Immersion Experience

Africa | Jamie Serafi Wrote: Last year the school i worked in in Manchester sent me on a once in a lifetime experience to Lusaka in Zambia as part of a Christian Brother exposure to how the network is assisting poverty in Africa. I made a 30 min fly on the wall documentary on my experiences which has already been shown in Manchester in front of 3000 people to help make people aware of the plight. The film is essentially a travel documentary with music, voice over and key moments of me speaking into the camera and talking about how i feel, having come in contact with some very tragic people as i wonder around HIV orphanages and compounds and schools, etc. See The Video

Namibia - Crazy and entertaining roadtrip to the African tribes

This crazy solo journey through storms and floods and difficult terrain took 4 days, sleeping in the desert in the nights and getting help along the way sometimes from entire villages as my car got inevitably stuck in deep sand and water. You will then see how amazing it can be to spend time and get close with an untouched african tribe like the Himbas. The footage in this film is eye opening and incredibly entertaining and literally out of this world - the one we have only been exposed to."
I think: This looks like a hell of an adventure. This guy takes getting off the beaten path to a new level. See The Video

BootsnAll's Kilimanjaro Climb

Africa | They wrote: "One of BootsnAll's many adventure trips. BootsnAll has an edge in Tanzania. Our Africa specialist Donovan used to live on Kilimanjaro and can answer any questions about routes, safety, prices, and will put together a climbing proposal for your group. He also runs a daily blog with Kilimanjaro information. This video takes you on an African safari in the Serengeti, and to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa - and one of the most climbed mountains in the world. Anyone who is reasonably fit can climb Kilimanjaro and trek for one week up to see the actual fabled snows of Kilimanjaro, which sits just south of the Equator. Call Donovan at 866-549-7614 to find out more travel tips on Tanzania, safaris and Kilimanjaro climbing."
I think: Looks like a fun adventure. Would be a good goal some day. The editing could be a little tighter, but overall this is the kind of adventure video that I like to see. Has anyone out there climbed Kilimanjaro or any other mountains in Africa? Any recommendations? Does this video capture the climb you experienced? See The Video
